Impact Wrestling Power Rankings: Allie Embraces The Darkness
In this week’s Impact Wrestling power rankings, Allie remains ranked in a top three position after embracing her inner darkness. She will defend the Knockouts Championship against Su Yung at “Under Pressure” for the second time.
Another jam-packed week of Impact Wrestling means it’s time to tweak the power rankings a little bit. We still don’t know who the mysterious backstage attacker is, but we do know that he evidently targeted Jimmy Jacobs, who was unable to assist his “monster” Kongo Kong as a result of this attack. Previously, Jacobs and Kong were accused by Grado of being behind the assaults, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
10. Madison Rayne
The Impact Knockouts Division remains on fire, and while we didn’t get to see a single women’s match on this week’s episode of Impact, the women still found a way to make their presence felt. Madison Rayne’s in-ring return to Impact will take place next week when she takes on the loud-mouthed Tessa Blanchard, but Rayne will have an uphill battle when it comes to actually defeating the supremely gifted Blanchard. Rayne’s promos hyping up this match have been great, and she certainly feels like a big deal as a key part of this blossoming Knockouts Division.
9. Eddie Edwards
Eddie Edwards makes his first appearance on this power rankings, because I’m starting to buy into his downward spiral into utter madness. He’s clearly lost himself in this Sami Callihan feud, and it’s gotten to the point where his wife, Alisha Edwards, proclaimed that Eddie is no different than Callihan at this point. That’s a startling statement, and it’s one that Eddie brushed aside with a total lack of self-awareness. Edwards is dangerous, he’s desperate, and he won’t stop trying to destroy Callihan, even though he’s already won this feud.
