WWE Money in the Bank 2018: Ranking Women’s Ladder Match Chances Of Winning

4. Becky Lynch

I mean, I want to rank Becky Lynch higher on this list, but I’ve been fooled so many times before, so I might as well not press my luck. Earlier this year, I thought Becky Lynch was a real candidate to win the Women’s Royal Rumble, but that didn’t come close to materializing, despite the fact that she and Sasha Banks were arguably the MVPs of the match.

Lynch’s briefcase win would be intriguing, because there are so many angles that could be created. Would Becky finally turn heel and cash in on someone like Asuka or even Charlotte to start an epic feud? Or would babyface Becky cut impassioned promos about finally being able to take matters into her own hands after being pushed down by SmackDown Live?

It won’t happen, but it’s awesome to ponder the scenarios.

3. Natalya

Although it’s easier to buy into Natalya as a babyface, she pulled out some low-key excellent heel work near the end of 2017. After she took the title off of Naomi at SummerSlam, Natalya started acting like a desperate champion, because she knew it was only a matter of time before Charlotte Flair would take the SmackDown Women’s Championship off of her.

Natalya understands the business almost as well as anyone, which is why she’s able to be either a face or a heel. So Natalya winning the briefcase, cashing in on Ronda Rousey, and turning heel could lead to some more excellent character work from both, and I’d love to see Nattie help Rousey hit that next level as a performer both in and out of the ring.

The more that I think about it, the more likely Natalya’s win seems. Some fans criticize Natalya for being “boring”, but I don’t think a SummerSlam feud over the Raw Women’s Championship between Rousey and Natalya would be boring at all. Any matches they have would be exceptional, and I think Natalya would be an interesting foil to Rousey, provided the promos are well thought-out and well-written.

Nattie’s been in WWE for quite some time and has accomplished more than most wrestlers could dream of, and a Money in the Bank cash-in on Rousey would be arguably her greatest moment yet.
