6: TJP (New Entrant)

TJP is undergoing something of a quiet renaissance on 205 Live at the moment, and it looks as though he could be set to enter into a feud with current 205 Live GM, Drake Maverick.

While TJP has not been anywhere near the title scene for some time now, his performances in May have certainly put him back on a lot of fan’s radars. He was the stand-out performer, and the victor, in an excellent fatal 4 way match on the May 15th episode of the show, defeating Kalisto, Tyler Bate and Kenny Williams, and while his other victories may have come against glorified enhancement talent, TJP’s stock is slowly, but surely, back on the rise.

5: Hideo Itami (April: #9)

Hideo Itami spent the month of April teaming with Akira Tozawa in a series of matches against Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado. Since then, however, Itami has turned heel and while he has only competed in one match in the last month, it was a very memorable encounter.

Itami took on Tozawa on the May 22nd edition of the show and it was his best match since coming up to 205 Live from NXT.

Itami’s newer, more aggressive style could seem him rise up the ranks in 205 Live over the coming months, and he would no doubt be an excellent opponent for reigning champion, and super baby-face, Cedric Alexander.
