5. Braun Strowman Disposes Of Bobby Roode

Two weeks ago on Raw, Braun Strowman defeated Finn Balor in a grueling main event, and he nearly lost to Balor last week before Kevin Owens interfered and prevented  the former NXT Champion from hitting Braun with a second Coup de Grace

I don’t expect Roode to get the same “protection”, and I expect him to suffer a loss here to Strowman, who remains one of the most popular acts in professional wrestling. Strowman is an attraction in every sense, and he needs to be picking up marquee victories like this one on Raw, especially if he isn’t selected to win the Money in the Bank briefcase in a few weeks.

Roode feels lost at the moment, and a shocking win over Strowman isn’t going to help matters at all. This will be a competitive match, and all of Roode’s matches are hard-fought battles. But Roode has absolutely no chance of winning here, and I’d look for him to get powerslammed hard for a second week in a row.

There’s absolutely no shame in losing to someone like Strowman, who basically destroys everyone he faces. At this point, only Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar can be expected to defeat Braun in a one-on-one battle, so the real story will be just how competitive this match is.
