1. More Friction Between Sasha Banks and Bayley

Since the last time we checked in on Sasha Banks and Bayley, they seem to be back on the same page after fighting for months due to Sasha’s betrayal in the Elimination Chamber match. Banks didn’t have to attack Bayley just yet, since the two were supposed to be working together to take care of the manipulative Alexa Bliss, but Banks couldn’t help but have her own “Scar” moment at the top of the EC pod.

Neither woman would win that Elimination Chamber match, and neither woman has had a marquee victory since then. That is, of course, until Sasha qualified for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match last week by winning a Gauntlet Match, as she swooped in as the final entrant to submit Ruby Riott after a brilliant back-and-forth. Recall that it was Riott who eliminated Bayley after Bayley disposed of the other two members of the Riott Squad.

Banks and Bayley have had their dust-ups with the Riott Squad, but they ended up helping each other to avoid getting beaten up by Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, and Ruby. Of course, it took them getting defeated once apiece by Ruby in order to start working together again, but, hey, I guess that’s what it took for them to patch things up.

That said, their friendship is still on shaky ground, and I wonder how Bayley feels about Sasha qualifying for Money in the Bank. Bayley eliminated more people than Sasha and had to start the match first, but Sasha won after entering last. How does that sit with Bayley, because it is Sasha who gets the first opportunity at a briefcase that almost guarantees an eventual Raw Women’s Championship victory? Meanwhile, it’s been about a year since Bayley last tasted gold.

This story isn’t over yet, and I wonder if Banks and Bayley will start to bicker again tonight.
