5. Jervis Cottonbelly

The World’s Sweetest Man doesn’t immediately jump out as a potential “WWE Superstar,” but a closer inspection reveals he’d be right at home with the other colorful characters in the company. Additionally, Jervis Cottonbelly is the kind of character with no real current counterpart in WWE, so he’d immediately be one of the freshest character no matter which brand he ended up with.

For those who haven’t yet had the extreme pleasure of knowing about Jervis, let me get you up to speed. He’s the epitome of a gentleman, from his polite speech to his impeccable manners. Jervis dresses like a true gentleman as well, always wearing his sport coat and bowler hat, and strolling around with a walking stick.

Cottonbelly is a veteran of CHIKARA, where he was a member of the winning team of the Challenge of the Immortals in 2015. More recently, he’s competed with Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. Jervis is a former DDT Pro Ironman Heavymetalweight Champion, and a WrestleCircus Sideshow Champion. And he lost the Sideshow Title to r/SquaredCircle — seriously.

There’s no shortage of Jervis Cottonbelly highlights to show that he’d be adored by the crowd at Full Sail University. Watch the video at the top of the page where he uses a literal sleeper hold, and tell me the hardcores at NXT tapings wouldn’t eat him up.
