3. Elias Gaining Momentum In Feud With Seth Rollins

Elias has gotten over with the WWE universe in a comedy type of role that has really never gotten a marquee opportunity.  But that will change at Money In The Bank when Elias battles arguably the hottest superstar in the WWE with championship gold on the line.

Seth Rollins will defend the Intercontinental Championship at Money In The Bank against Elias after Elias got on Rollins’ bad side last week on Raw after crushing him in the back with a guitar.  This will be a key moment for Elias’ career, but he has already been building key momentum in the buildup towards this match.

After last night’s opening segment broke down with Elias, Rollins, Jinder Mahal, and Roman Reigns involved, a tag team match was made pitting Elias and Mahal against Reigns and Rollins.  The match didn’t seem to have a clear winner for a while, but in the end, Elias’ craftiness took over when he hit Rollins with a DDT on a steel chair that was put in the ring.

One more high-impact move was all Elias needed and he pinned Rollins to get the win for his team.  Pinning the Intercontinental Champion is huge and Elias has undeniable momentum heading into the biggest match of his WWE career up to this point.  Only time will tell if he will be able to capture the gold, but so far, so good.

WWE stands for Walk With Elias and Elias is looking to walk out of Money In The Bank with his first championship on the main roster.
