8. Sasha Banks (last week: 7)

Sasha Banks bounced back nicely from the poor booking of last week’s gauntlet match (yes, even though she won, she suffered from poor booking; it’s possible). In the six woman tag match this week, Banks handled herself nicely, as is usually the case for her.

The issue I have is how Sasha reacted to Bayley after everything went down. There’s been little to no movement on the Bayley/Banks front for a few weeks; now all of a sudden it’s back on at full speed ahead? Sasha was happy for about six seconds until Kurt Angle showed up to announce the reversal of the decision. Then she dropped an eye roll that may have allowed her to see behind herself.

There needs to be some consistency with the Bayley/Banks thing, because right now it might be too slow of a build.

7. Nia Jax (last week: 8)

The only reason Nia Jax is moving up a spot this week? She defeated an actual, legitimate superstar who happens to be a former champion. Natalya is definitely a step up from the local competitor Jax pasted a week earlier.

But besides that, the unevenness to Jax’s character over the past few weeks negates any major gains she made. Is she a face or a heel? As champion, it benefits the entire division if Jax is stable in her characterization. Too much Big Show-like flip flopping hurts everyone.
