5. Is a Natalya heel turn on the horizon?

Natalya and Ronda Rousey have been portrayed as close friends for quite a while now. However, the moment these two were put in the same story arc, one had to wonder whether this would lead to a feud down the line. With Rousey now being a huge favorite to defeat Nia Jax and capture her first title in the WWE, it looks to be the case.

This week on Raw, Natalya faced Jax in singles action and as the action unfolded she appeared to have injured her knee. It was later shown in a backstage segment that the Women’s champion came backstage to apologize to Natalya but Rousey was not having any of it. However, Natalya seemed to have other intentions as she stormed out of the room at whatever pace she could with her bad leg and all.

However, does this point to an eventual heel turn for Natalya? Or does it make her a heavy favorite to win the Money in the Bank contract? Considering the PPV was exclusive to SmackDown Live last year, it would make sense if a women wrestler from Raw actually won it. It’s something that creative would think.

What if Natalya played everyone by faking an injury, then won the Money in the Bank match and cashed in on Rousey on the same night to kick-start a hot feud that can last through Rousey’s first title reign?
