WWE 5 Burning Questions: What Lies Ahead For Ziggler And McIntyre?

1. Will Drew McIntyre continue to stick with Dolph Ziggler?

When Dolph Ziggler made his switch to Raw, he didn’t come alone. The Show Off came up with his own version of an NXT call-up. A former Intercontinental Champion, a veteran of the independent circuits and a former NXT champion, Drew McIntyre would also make his main roster debut. The fans in attendance went nuts as McIntyre delivered vicious headbutts to anyone who stood in his paths.

The duo had been dominating Monday nights on a weekly basis ever since. Their biggest moment came when they defeated Braun Strowman and Finn Balor in a main event tag team match. This week, Ziggler and McIntyre competed in a battle royale to determine the new number one contenders for the Raw tag team titles. The story of the match was all about the B Team. As such, Ziggler was quickly eliminated from the match.

The duo still left their mark on the match as they took out the rest of the competitors and leveled the field before leaving. But one has to wonder, seeing as how Ziggler cost both of them a shot at the gold, will McIntyre simply continue to abide by his orders?

It doesn’t take a genius to figure our McIntyre never needed to be paired with someone else to make a name for himself. Especially after his grand return to the main roster. However, pairing him with Ziggler has helped to paint him as a more dominating force on the roster. Additionally, it might give creative McIntyre’s first singles feud on the main roster.Or, they could simply go back, regroup and beat the ever living hell out of Breezango next week. Either way, McIntyre’s next action and its consequences seem intriguing.
