Kazuchika Okada (CHAOS) (c) vs. Kenny Omega – IWGP Heavyweight Championship – Best 2/3 Falls, No Time Limits

This one had a big match feel. Omega and Okada IV has potential to be one of the greatest matches ever.

1st Fall

The early portions of the match saw Omega and Okada exchange a series of holds, ending with Okada going for the Rainmaker. He missed and Omega went for the One Winged Angel. Okada blocked it and both men spilled over the top rope. Okada sent Kenny in the guardrail and went for his flying splash over the guardrail. Kenny cut him off with a V-Trigger to the face. Holy crap!

Omega slammed Okada on a guardrail, rolled Okada back in and got a 2 count. Omega continued to chop Okada down and work over the back with a big backbreaker. Kenny locked on a camel clutch on Okada, and continued to wear him down. Kenny killed Okada with a series of chops and picked Okada up. Okada hit a series of forearms and floored Omega with a massive elbow. Okada hit a huge DDT, but Omega kicked out.

Okada locked in the cobra clutch, but Kenny fought out of it and sent Okada to the outside. Okada dodged a tope from Kenny, and hit one of his own. Omega dodged a missile dropkick, hit a hurricanrana, and he hit a massive springboard crossbody over the guardrail onto Okada! Back in the ring, Omega hit a Kitaro Crusher and a Fisherman’s Buster onto his knee. Omega followed this up with a V-Trigger, but Okada countered. After a series of counters, Omega managed to kill Okada with a knee.

Kenny and Okada were battling on the top rope, and Okada managed to take him down and hit a tombstone piledriver on the apron. Okada hit a missile dropkick onto Kenny and he flew off the apron onto the guardrail. Okada hit a dropkick from the top rope and sent Omega crashing to the mat. He followed this with a flying elbow and he went for the Rainmaker! Omega countered with a Snap Dragon!

Omega hit The Rise of the Terminator, and drove Okada into the floor! Kenny hit a knee to the back of Okada’s head, but Okada kicked out at two. Omega went for One Winged Angel, Okada countered.

Okada went for the Rainmaker! Omega countered. Omega hit a deadlift German suplex! Okada kicked out! Omega almost hit a One Winged Angel, but Okada hit a dropkick. Okada went for the Rainmaker, but Omega hit a flying knee. Okada kicked out again! After a series of counters, Okada managed to pin Omega to win the first fall!
