What were the best segments on WWE television last week?

Another week of WWE TV has come and gone, with this week being just two weeks away from one of the bigger WWE pay per views of the year, Money in the Bank. There were ups and downs on this week’s Raw and SmackDown, but for now we’ll focus on the positive side of things with the best segments and matches on WWE TV this week.

Sami Zayn and Bobby Lashley Promo

This segment was quite entertaining, and to no fault of Bobby Lashley. To say Bobby is bland and uninteresting is an understatement, and this segment started no different. Bobby called out Sami after last week challenging him to a match at Money in the Bank. What made this segment so good was simply Sami Zayn. Hilarity would ensue as Sami took the unorthodox approach of showing us inspirational quotes on Lashley’s Instagram.

Sami went on to say that he used an “anonymous” Instagram account to thank Lashley for his motivation, but instead of Bobby replying to him himself, he was sent a copy and paste link to the Bobby Lashley fan club. Sami ended the promo by calling Lashley a liar, with the exclamation point being when Sami questioned if Bobby really served in the military.

Did this promo make me more interested in their match at Money in the Bank? No, not really, but I feel when Sami Zayn is in his element as a heel like he was here, it’ll always make for fun television. Lashley obviously still needs a lot of work, but at least he was still a part of what I considered to be a good segment after his last few weeks.
