What were the worst segments on WWE TV last week?

As with any week in WWE TV, there will be moments we enjoy, along with moments we’re left scratching our heads thinking “What am I watching right now?” This is where we focus on the latter, taking a look at the 5 worst segments on WWE TV this week.

Karl Anderson vs. Harper

Heading into the SmackDown Tag Team Title match between the Bludgeon Brothers and Gallows & Anderson, this week SmackDown went to an old faithful of WWE booking: having a singles match between one guy in each tag team. This is already such a tired concept to build to a title match, and this did nothing different for me.

The match essentially was Harper taking the offense for pretty much the whole match, only to lose to a surprise roll up from Anderson. Again, another tired concept. This served absolutely no purpose other than to waste time.

The saddest part about this is that Anderson and Harper are two of WWE’s more under rated in ring performers, and given the right situation, I think they could have a great match together. In this situation, however, with what they’ve been tasked with trying to make work, it’s impossible for anyone to care.
