Charlotte Vs Asuka (c) – Smackdown Women’s Championship

Charlotte Vs Asuka was one of the best matches at WrestleMania this year, and the two women are destined to meet again now that they are sharing the same brand.

The WWE has not exactly booked either woman to look great in the post-Mania fallout, but they are both big enough talents to overcome any damage done to them by creative, and that process should start at Money in the Bank.

Asuka’s match against Carmella has to end with Asuka picking up the victory, and whether or not the company decides to give Charlotte the briefcase doesn’t really matter, she is relevant enough to just be given the number 1 contenders spot.

Of course, Asuka should pick up the victory here, to level the playing field and after this, Charlotte can head over to Raw and start building towards her rumoured WrestleMania bout with Ronda Rousey. This would also open the door for a rubber match between the two women later down the line.

If the WWE decides to repeat last year’s SmackDown Vs Raw theme at Survivor Series, then this could also set up a potential clash between Ronda Rousey Vs Asuka at the event, a match which, given its star power, could easily headline the whole show, and operate as a tester for the rumoured Rousey Vs Charlotte main event at WrestleMania 35.
