Roman Reigns vs. The Great… Sunil Singh

This was just pointless. Prior to this we did actually get a good backstage promo from Roman Reigns, calling Jinder an “Idiot” and saying that he earned the ass-whooping Roman will give him. Jinder would then have an in ring promo, once again saying the “winds are changing.” Still not sure what that means. Roman would cut off this promo, ready for his match with Jinder. Jinder pulled a swerve though, and said Roman would not be taking on him, but would rather be taking on The Great… Sunil Singh.

Singh wasn’t ready for this, and Roman beat him quickly with a superman punch followed by a spear. Jinder would quickly get into the ring, hit Roman with the Khallas, and that was it. Other than this segment being terribly boring, it didn’t make any sense from Jinder’s point of view. As the dastardly heel he should be, why just hit Roman with one finisher and leave?

Why not take the beat down further going into their match on Sunday to weaken him? Possibly even build some sympathy for Roman and have something they can work with in their match with Roman healing an injury.
