WWE 205 Live: Results, Grades and Analysis for June 19
By Liam Hoofe
205 Live wasn’t represented at this Sunday’s Money in the Bank event, but there was still plenty of interesting developments on this week’s edition of the show.
The Cruiserweight division has, sadly, not been represented at the last two WWE events, which is unfortunate because the show has been on fine form over the last few months.
This week’s episode was yet another exciting entry for the brand, with three of the brand’s top stars meeting up in the main event, in a match that many fans considered to be an unofficial number 1 contender’s match.
The match, which featured Mustafa Ali, Buddy Murphy, and Hideo Itami, was made after Itami attacked both Murphy and Ali a few weeks back, making it clear that he intends to rise to the top of the 205 Live roster and unseat Cedric Alexander as the Cruiserweight Champion.
Elsewhere on the show, Drew Gulak would go one-on-one with Lince Dorado, as the feud between the Lucha house party and the team of Gulak, Kendrick and Gallagher continues to rage on. Kalisto and Gran Metalik have already fallen to Gulak’s deadly gu-lock submission hold, could he make it three for three on this week’s show.
Let’s take a look back and grade all of this week’s matches and segments.
