Kevin Owens
Kevin Owens was easily the most enjoyable part of the Men’s Money in the Bank match. Even though Owens wasn’t even in the whole match, he did enough in the time he was in the match to give me that conclusion. It also wasn’t even just his performance in the match, but in the build up to this match Owens was fantastic throughout. Owens, being the heel that he is, would try to convince anyone he could to help him take out Braun, including a great backstage segment with the New Day earlier in the show.
What really made this match so good to me was the Selling of fear from Owens throughout this match of Braun Strowman. Pound for pound, I think Kevin Owens is the best seller in WWE today, and he put on a masterpiece of that in this match. The highlight of this was seeing Owens face when Strowman emerged from underneath the ladders he had earlier been buried in.
Then of course after that, Kevin Owens adopted Shane McMahon’s gimmick of falling off really tall stuff, with Bruan chucking him off the top of a tall ladder and through tables in the tech area. That would take Owens out of the match, in what was a fantastic showing. We don’t deserve you, KO.
