Ronda Rousey Destroys Everyone

This is certainly one of my favorite segments of the year so far, and easily the best that Ronda Rousey has looked in a non-wrestling segment. This opened up Raw, with Kurt Angle reluctantly  presenting Alexa Bliss with the Raw Women’s Championship. Alexa did the promo we’ve seen from her a few times where she starts off acting like a baby face, then says just kidding I’m still a heel.

Ronda Rousey would eventually interrupt this, fully pissed off. Kurt Angle held her back from Bliss, which led to Alexa cutting another promo on Rousey. This part was really the only negative part of this segment, is that Alexa’s promo while Ronda was in the ring went too long while Kurt Angle was kind of holding Ronda back, but not really. The money line from Bliss at the end was calling Ronda an “over-hyped rookie.” Ronda had finally had enough at this point and ran past Angle, taking down Bliss and beating the hell out of her.

Kurt then pulled Ronda off of Bliss, which led Ronda taking down Angle, then going right after Bliss with the Money in the Bank briefcase, beating her down with that. Kurt then tries to pull Ronda away again, Rousey then beats Angle with the briefcase. Referees come down to try to get Ronda away, Ronda beats the referees up too. Ronda finally lifted Bliss up and power bombed her through a table.

This was Stone Cold levels of awesome. The biggest problem with Ronda has been the continuous awkward segments where she talks too much and it doesn’t work. Here, Ronda was a silent assassin and came off as a complete bad ass. Great stuff.
