Ten Wrestlers We’d Like to See in Mae Young Classic 2018
By Harmony Cox
JETTA
Every wrestling story needs a heel you love to hate, and you are just not going to find more lovable or despicable heel working today than Jetta. Jetta has helped mold existing WWE talent like Nikki Cross and Paige, but her current home promotion is EVE.
Jetta has made a reputation for herself as one of the funniest and most awful heels at EVE, and all of her matches are instant must-sees. For a (very brief) example, check out her 15 second match with Mischa East. Jetta is ridiculously talented in the ring, and she’s also amazing at working an audience.
The Princess Diana of Wrestling (that’s her nickname, not mine) can go from antagonizing a crowd to getting them to cheer for her in seconds flat. Mae Young Classic 2018 would benefit from a funny, big-personality heel. They aren’t going to find anyone better than Jetta. She’s the Kevin Owens of EVE!
DASH CHISAKO
Booking Meiko Satomura for the Mae Young Classic brings up an important question: mainly, who could they possibly book that could credibly pose a challenge to her? WWE need look no farther than Satomura’s own home promotion, Sendai Girls. Dash Chisako is a rock-and-roll party monster who can hold her own in any match.
She wrestles regularly with Meiko Satomura, so they already have good chemistry. She’s also an absolute beast in the ring- check out her incredible match with Kay Lee Ray at #SHEvolution if you don’t believe me. Satomura VS her mentee would be a great story to bring into the Mae Young Classic, and the match would be guaranteed incredible.
