16. Liv Morgan (last week: not ranked)

Making her first appearance on the countdown is Liv Morgan, who had possibly her best WWE match to date this week against Ember Moon. Even more impressive, you get the feeling Morgan is just filling in for Ruby Riott while she works her way back from injury. And so far, she’s doing an admirable job.

I’d like to see more variety in opponents for Liv, or even Sarah Logan getting a match or two. But if Morgan can continue her hot streak, she’ll work her way to a Raw Women’s Championship in short order.

15. Elias (last week: not ranked)

Why WWE has kept Elias relegated to the background since Money in the Bank was a mystery — until this week’s episode of WWE Raw. Turns out the former Drifter is working on his debut album, which seemed like a gag at first. But apparently, it’s just as legit as his sponsorship from Fender.

Of course, we know Elias is no slouch in the ring, so it was refreshing to see him back in action. After his brief rivalry with Seth Rollins a month ago, I thought he was primed for bigger and better things. Hopefully now, they’re finally here, coming straight ahead. Guy can’t plug his album if he’s not getting matches to introduce with his concerts!
