6. Nia Jax (last week: 9)

If you would have told me a year ago that Nia Jax would be consistently one of the best women superstars in the ring on a regular basis, I would have laughed. It wasn’t too long ago that Jax was generally considered an unsafe worker due to some rookie mistakes that contributed to injuries or awkward situations in matches.

But since then, Nia has improved tremendously. While she may not be seen in the same light as Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, or Sasha Banks in terms of in-ring ability, you can’t deny her improvements. She wrestled a good match this week on WWE Raw, tagging with Natalya against Alexa Bliss and Mickie James. And she’s in a good place heading into Extreme Rules.

5. Roman Reigns (last week: 6)

The Big Dog finally cracks the top five this week because so much of the rest fo the roster is being booked just as badly as he is. But besides that, Reigns is going all in on his “entitled elitist jerk babyface” gimmick, and it’s somehow paying some dividends? Honestly, I don’t know what the hell is up with Roman, but he and Lashley had a decent little brawl to open Raw and Reigns did that big dive, so here we are.

It was somewhat surprising that Reigns didn’t think it necessary to mention the whole Brock Lesnar thing this week. The guy has spent every opportunity talking about Brock not showing up, and when the guy shows up at a UFC event it’s crickets?
