WWE Extreme Rules 2018: Will The B Team Get Woken?

At WWE Extreme Rules 2018, the comedic duo known as the B Team will face their greatest challenge and fear. What will the future hold for them?

We are merely a week away from WWE Extreme Rules 2018. One of the matches that have been built from the beginning for the PPV is the Raw tag team championship match. The Deleters of the World will take on the comedic duo of the B Team. Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas have made the most of their opportunity following the brand split.

But will their luck run out come Sunday? The B Team’s story is likable and generally affable. They have lady luck on their side and keeps racking up victories via fate or circumstances. The duo now boasts multiple victories over Woken Matt Hardy as well. But will they continue ride on that wave past Sunday as well? Or will they be fed to Hardy and Wyatt and eventually be forgotten, just like Heath Slater and Rhyno.

One way to prevent that from happening, while keeping the title on the champs itself is to continue their story with the B Team. What if Hardy and Wyatt see something in the comedic duo and take them under their wings? Perhaps Hardy sees ‘Lady Luck’ herself behind Axel and Dallas and decides to keep them as part of the Woken Family to make sure the ‘luck’ factor stays with them and helps the Woken Warriors as a whole.

One can even make up an angle where the Deleters of the World defeat them cleanly and yet, to induce further punishment, carry them to the Hardy Compound. Perhaps even Señor Benjamin can make an appearance following the match to indicate the ominous fate that awaits Axel and Dallas.

Once dumped into the Lake of Reincarnation, Axel and Dallas can return a few weeks later. This will be much like Wyatt once did. They will return to assist the Deleters of the World and to further establish the Woke Universe in the WWE. Wyatt and Dallas, being real life brothers can bring a lot more to the Woken Family and it will be a nice little Easter Egg for the fans.

Moreover, above everything else, this will ensure these two talented young wrestler remain in some form of spotlights even after their thirty seconds of fame. One cannot realistically expect the B Team to pull off an upset and defeat the Deleters of the World. Being repackaged as the Woken Warriors is the next best thing they could do.
