Los Ingobernables de Japon(SANADA and Tetsuya Naito) vs Bullet Club (IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega and Chase Owens)

https://twitter.com/totaldivaseps/status/1018080531332915200?s=19

It was a big start, as Naito and Omega begin. The crowd really get into this tag match, as they started at a really-fast pace. SANADA ends up getting the advantage as all 4 guys are on the outside. As the match progresses, we see some incredible action and spots from all 4 wrestlers, but the Skull End by SANADA picks up the victory for him and Tetsuya Naito.

CONCLUSION: 3.5 stars. By far the best match we’ve seen so far. Even though the IWGP Champion lost, the more I think about the result, the more it makes sense. But it was definitely a enjoyable match!

We head into an Intermission, after seeing tag matches from Block B, the G1 Climax tournament begins.

YOSHI-HASHI vs Togi Makabe:

This match began with a striking clinic between the 2 wrestlers, but it was YOSHI-HASHI who got the advantage. We progress further into the match, and YOSHI-HASHI tries to use the barricade as a weapon to try and get all momentum needed. The crowd finally begin getting into this match as Makabe connects his comeback to bring the momentum back to him. The climax of the match begins as Makabe tries a Spider Suplex however it was reversed into a powerbomb by YOSHI-HASHI. Around 2 minutes later, Makabe goes for the Spider Suplex and this time connects, then hits the King Kong knee drop for the cover.

CONCLUSION: 3.25 stars. Enjoyable match and the aggressive side of YOSHI-HASHI needs to keep going throughout the G1 Climax, as I like the story being told there. Great start to the tournament, let’s hope it keeps up this pace!
