2. LAX w/ Konnan

LAX has had a turbulent year so far. After they lost the Impact Tag Team Championship to Eli Drake and Scott Steiner, things slowly fell apart for LAX, especially with Konnan disappearing, until King showed up to take the reins again. In recent weeks, they’ve been stealing the show on Impact Wrestling as the faction began imploding again, and tensions between King and Konnan finally hit a peak when it was revealed that King “put a hit” out on Konnan to take control of the faction.

LAX is in some desperate need for stability, and if King, along with Homicide and Hernandez, get the win over the current LAX, you can expect the faction to get turned on it’s head, and who knows what kind of chaos King and the OG’s will stir up, and who knows how the tag team division as a whole will fair in that wake.

This feud popped up on the Impact radar relatively quickly, but it just as quickly became one of the more important matches on the card due to how heated it got out of almost nowhere. Impact had been teasing Konnan having some sort of info against King, but the sudden inclusion of Homicide and Hernandez was unexpected twist that elevated the stakes.
