For fans of professional wrestling, there’s nothing more frustrating than feeling like your favorite superstars are being misused or underutilized. These frustrations often lead to imagining said superstars fitting into another promotion and fulfilling a more meaningful role.

And sometimes it’s just fun to dream…

WWE SUPERSTARS THAT SHOULD GO TO NJPW

Dolph Ziggler

Before Ziggler re-signed with WWE earlier this year, I was seething for him to try his luck somewhere else. At the time, he had just come off that confusing angle where he won the US Championship, then randomly left it in the middle of the ring the next night, then disappeared for over a month before inexplicably returning in the Rumble only to be eliminated in barely a minute. Blah. I’d rather not think about that.

Anyways, Dolph’s in a much better spot now then he was at the beginning of the year. His pairing with McIntyre has easily been one of the highlights of Raw over the last couple months. Also, he just won the IC Title and is currently involved in an entertaining program with Seth Rollins. Things are going well for @HeelZiggler… but here’s the thing: Eventually his alliance with McIntyre is going to wither, and when it does, I’m worried that Ziggler is going to fade into obscurity after putting over the Scotsman.

Dolph is just too good to be anywhere near obscurity. I don’t want him to leave WWE because I dislike him, I want him to leave because he’s one of my favorite wrestlers.

With that being said, I know he isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, but just for kicks, let’s think about how awesome is would be for The Show Off to show up in NJPW. I’m fully confident that he could adjust to the Japanese style in no time and put on some KILLER matches. Imagine Ziggler vs Omega, Ziggler vs Okada, or even Ziggler vs Juice for the United States Championship. Even better, let’s say Omega leaves Japan for WWE next year and Tama Tonga’s new faction completely splits off… Imagine Dolph Ziggler as the leader of Bullet Club. TAKE ALL OF MY MONEY NOW.
