SAY YEAH!

The Revival would still be considered by many to be the best tag team on Earth if they were given the opportunity to show it. If you’ve forgotten how incredible Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder are, go watch one of their NXT Takeover matches. Their 2/3 falls match against DIY in Toronto in particular was truly unbelievable and should be remembered as one of the greatest ever displays of tag team storytelling. These incredibly average looking fellas are capable of so much more than they’re able to show on RAW.

Unlike Cesaro, I think The Revival’s style can be conducive to WWE success. I just don’t have confidence that they’ll be used to their full potential. Whether it’s their look that holds them back, or if there just isn’t room for them in the crowded tag divisions, I would rather Dash and Dawson work for a company where I’m sure they’ll shine.

New Japan’s heavyweight tag scene is on the come up with The Young Bucks and EVIL & SANADA at the forefront of the division. If The Revival were added to the mix, it would easily be one of the best tag divisions in wrestling. Plus, the whole FTR debacle could finally be paid off. It would be fantastic.

…Or they could just go back to NXT. I’d be happy with that too.
