He’s got the look.

The Machine looks as legit as they come. If Vince McMahon could build a wrestler from the ground up, Cage is about as close as you could get. He’s huge! Even his muscles have muscles. Not to mention, he ticks a lot of boxes. Impressive physique? Check. Mohawk? Check. Wolverine facial hair? Check.

If you peruse through the Impact Wrestling roster, you’ll notice that there aren’t many other guys, size wise, that stack up to Weapon X. The chiseled Eli Drake was no match for Cage. Kongo Kong is a big boy, but that didn’t stop the Machine from powering through him. Even Bobby Lashley put him over on his way out the door!

It’s evident that management sees something in him. And while size might not be everything, it’s an integral part of why Cage is marketable as one of the faces of the company. A lot of diehard wrestling fans tend to gravitate towards a Daniel Bryan or an AJ Styles, who are smaller in stature but aren’t short on ability. But wrestling needs its big men. Bryan can only be an underdog as long as there are guys, twice his size, like Brian, tossing him around.

With that in mind, it’s not like a wrestling promotion can’t just go and hand out championships to guys because they’re big, right?
