4. Sasha Banks And Bayley Feud Takes Another Memorable Turn

One could make the argument that the best feud in the WWE right now is the long-running story between Sasha Banks and Bayley.  These two pioneers of the women’s division have blazed a trail through the WWE’s women’s evolution, but have been having issues for months regarding their friendship.

It felt inevitable that they would blow up at each other and sure enough, they did just that.  It appeared as if they would not be able to reconcile, even with friendship counseling, but last night implied that might not be the case.  GM Kurt Angle tried once again to get them back on track and put Banks and Bayley in a tag team match against Dana Brooke and Alicia Fox, but if they still couldn’t get along, one of them would be traded to SmackDown.

The turning point of the match came when Bayley was getting beat down on the outside and from that point, Banks lost it.  She attacked both Brooke and Fox to the point where she and Bayley got disqualified before The Boss walked out.  The really memorable moment came backstage when Bayley approached Banks regarding her actions.

Banks said she doesn’t want to see Bayley get beat up and that she has always and will always love her.  It was an important and useful segment for the storyline between these two and could be the first major step in these two getting back on the same page.  There’s no telling where it will go from here, but this segment could play a huge role in whatever direction the story goes from here.

It took a while, but it appears as if The Hugger and The Boss are starting to realize how important each superstar is to the other.
