3. Marquee Raw Women’s Championship Match Bound To Shake-Up SummerSlam

Ronda Rousey has taken to the WWE like a duck takes to water in her short time in the company.  She has developed into maybe the most over superstar on the roster and someone the women’s division can be built around for years to come, but a major accolade has eluded her up to this point in limited wrestling action.

Following her actions a few weeks ago, Rousey was suspended for 30 days from Raw.  That didn’t stop her from buying a ticket to Extreme Rules, however, and she made her presence felt in the Raw Women’s Championship match featuring Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax.  Bliss got the win and she was basking in her success last night with a promo alongside her friend Mickie James.

But her happiness would be short lived when Rousey came through the crowd and briefly got her hands on both Bliss and James.  Kurt Angle came out and stopped it, but would make a big announcement in the process.  He said if Rousey can act right in the remaining days of her suspension, she would get a Raw Women’s Championship match against Bliss at SummerSlam next month.

This was a big announcement and seeing what this match could result in is exciting.  Rousey has taken the WWE by storm and has shown she is a natural inside the squared circle.  So, putting her in a feud with the top women’s heel on Raw just feels right and could result in a very memorable showdown at the biggest party of the summer.  Not to mention, everybody wants to see Rousey get her hands on Bliss at this point.

The Baddest Woman On The Planet is coming after the Raw Women’s Championship in what promises to shake-up the SummerSlam card.
