4. Daniel Bryan Finds A New Tag Team Partner
Due to Kane’s broken ankle from Bludgeon Bros’ ambush at Extreme Rules, Daniel Bryan needs a new tag team partner to fight the Bludgeon Bros at SummerSlam. As can be indicated in the link below from WWE’s YouTube page below, Daniel had to fight the majority of the tag title match at Extreme Rules on his own:
It was basically a handicap match for Daniel, and he was severely outnumbered. Kane was not capable of helping Daniel, and they therefore lost to the Bludgeon Brothers. This was Daniel’s first PPV loss since he returned; since he still needs to get redemption and gain back momentum, he is definitely not done with the Bludgeon Brothers.
In terms of Daniel’s new tag partner, I can see why he keeps his friends close but his enemy closer. I foresee him teaming up with his greatest nemesis: The Miz. The Miz is the best option since he has been very invested in Team Hell No’s feud with the Bludgeon Bros, as can be indicated by his Miz TV segment in the link below from WWE’s YouTube page:
In fact, The Miz was also involved when The Bludgeon Bros attacked Daniel in the well-known #1 contender’s gauntlet match back in June. Check out the altercation in the link below from WWE’s YouTube’s page:
All in all, the dynamics of this tag team can be very controversial considering these two superstars’ vile history with each other. However, controversy tends to be a good sign for a tag team. Just ask D-Generation X, one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history, from Cyber Sunday 2006:
