It’s Samoa Joe’s time. He has not won a title on the main roster as yet, and it has been long overdue for him to do so. Ever since Joe arrived at SmackDown Live, he has wanted to take over. Check out this link below from WWE’s YouTube page of Joe’s debut and promo:

One of the people Joe mentioned in his promo as a target was none other than WWE Champion AJ Styles. I appreciate how  Joe kept the options open for himself on the land of opportunity, and now is the time for him to capitalize on his most important option leading up to SummerSlam. Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles is a dream match in the making, and it can only get better from here.

It’s time for Samoa Joe to move on from his disappointing losses and his feud with Tye Dillinger in order to step foot through the doors of AJ Styles’ house and destroy what was built. It’s time for Samoa Joe to be considered a more vital asset to SmackDown Live. It’s time for Samoa Joe to become the WWE Champion.

Indeed, AJ Styles has had the title since November when he dethroned Jinder Mahal. As indicated in the link below from WWE’s YouTube page, AJ Styles stated that he has held the title for 251 days:
