2. Eric Young vs. Kofi Kingston

A tag team feud that has the WWE universe excited is The New Day battling SAnitY with bragging rights on the line.  The teams faced off at Extreme Rules with SAnitY getting the big win, but last night was about one-on-one action involving these trios.

One member of each team went head to head in singles action when Kofi Kingston of The New Day battled SAnitY leader Eric Young.  It was an intriguing match between two veterans in the business and could help further the feud between these trios.  And both men made sure they made the most out of the opportunity they had.

This turned out to be a very solid match between two great wrestlers with a lot of high-risk and innovative offense included.  It also reminded fans how good both men are individually despite both being involved with teams.  But in the end, Young made the biggest impact and pinned Kingston to get the win, the second win for SAnitY over The New Day in two days.

These teams can produce at a high level and if the WWE gives this feud the appropriate care it deserves, it can be one to remember.  Both trios are so talented and gel together tremendously, but there are hidden singles gems involved as well as was evident last night with Young and Kingston.  The future of this feud appears to be very bright moving forward.

It wasn’t about tag team wrestling, but Young’s victory over Kingston in a very solid match helps give SAnitY even more momentum over The New Day.

Final Grade: B+
