6. The Bludgeon Brothers, SmackDown Tag Team Champions

After defeating Team Hell No at Extreme Rules, the Bludgeon Brothers don’t seem to have a future opponent lined up. There isn’t a babyface tag team with a case to face them, and the tag team with the most momentum, Sanity, is still busy feuding with The New Day.

Harper and Rowan wisely went after Kane before their match at Extreme Rules, taking him out and isolating Daniel Bryan at the beginning of the match. The Bludgeon Brothers have run through all of their challengers in the SmackDown Tag Division, whether it be The Usos, The New Day, or Kane and Bryan.

5. Carmella, SmackDown Women’s Champion

The sentence, “Carmella’s days as SmackDown Women’s Champion are numbered,” have been uttered as frequently as any sentence over these past couple of months, but, still, the Princess of Staten Island has prevailed. She remains the champion, as she defeated Asuka at Extreme Rules under extremely dubious circumstances. Looks like bringing back James Ellsworth, her “boyfriend” as Paige joked, paid dividends!

But Carmella may have to face her most determined challenger yet in Becky Lynch. If Lynch defeats her next week on SmackDown Live, then Lynch will have the opportunity to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship at SummerSlam. It’s something Lynch has been dying to do for well over a year, especially since these two wrestlers have so much history.
