4. Bobby Lashley (last week: 10)

3. Roman Reigns (last week: 5)

In the two biggest matches on WWE Raw this week, Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley both won triple threat matches. This puts them once again in direct competition with one another. The big change from their Extreme Rules match with “championship implications”? When they next meet, it’s officially for the chance to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam.

Now, some people may have a problem with this. I get it, we just did the match and Lashley went over clean, so why do we have to do it again, only for real this time? The answer is, we don’t, but the Extreme Rules match was pretty good. Far better than many were expecting, myself included. So doing it again can’t hurt.

What gets me about the match is the multiple possible outcomes that all seem totally probable. There isn’t one possible finish to the upcoming number one contender’s match that doesn’t seem like a distinct possibility. Reigns gets his win back? Check. Lashley wins again, because too bad, Roman? Sure! Double DQ or something schmozzy to get a triple threat at SummerSlam? Ding ding ding!

Regardless of what happens during their match next week, one thing is certain. Now that Brock Lesnar has an imminent title defense, the Universal Championship is going to be vaulted to top status on Raw. With these two guys killing each other to be next in line, they are among the top superstars on the show.
