10. Finn Bálor (last week: 14)

9. Elias (last week: 15)

Finn Bálor and Elias both kind of fall into the same category this week. Both superstars were involved in the triple threat matches set up to qualify for a shot at facing Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. When all was said and done, both superstars were the victims of the winner’s spear and ate the pinfall. Really, the only major difference was that Bálor opened the show and Elias closed it out.

But there’s more to it than that, too. Before this week’s Raw, both guys had kind of been floating along without direction. Finn feuded with Constable Baron Corbin leading into Extreme Rules, while Elias, uh, played his guitar backstage and recorded an album in his free time.

(Side note: Corbin would have been a solid contender on this list after recent weeks, but not questioning Kurt Angle why he was left out of the triple threats for losing at Extreme Rules while Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns also lost was a miscalculation. Also, hang onto your phone, buddy.)

Being added to the main event scene is something that could be a one-time thing — after all, Angle just needed six bodies. But both Bálor and Elias could take this and run with it. Elias not only has his album dropping this week, but he actually reminded everyone about his Intercontinental Championship match at Money in the Bank. And we all know Finn’s history with the Universal Championship.
