8. Alexa Bliss (last week: 9)

An Extreme Rules victory in an extreme rules match keeps Bliss as Raw Women’s Champion for the time being. Alexa didn’t have a match on Raw, but you can’t have a major championship challenger exist without the champion, too. And as I’ll discuss in a bit, there’s a mighty fine challenger being established for Bliss’s title.

You know, Alexa not wrestling too often on Raw got me thinking: with the exception of actually being on Raw, is Alexa Bliss just the women’s division version of Brock Lesnar? I feel like all the tag champions on both brands wrestle a bunch, AJ Styles is out there every week, the Intercontinental and United States Champions do their open challenges, and Carmella keeps getting forced into matches. But Bliss stands there and talks.

7. Ember Moon (last week: 4)

Another future Raw Women’s Championship challenger took her first loss in singles competition this week. Ember Moon is definitely one of the top superstars on WWE Raw, and one little loss is just a hiccup.

But what got me about it was her almost regression in the match with Sarah Logan. When Ember faced Liv Morgan, she was alway conscious of the outside interference from Logan. With the roles reversed, though, Ember couldn’t avoid the distraction from Liv. I don’t think Morgan is a better “distractor” than Logan, so it just seemed odd.
