WWE SummerSlam 2018: 3 Possible Opponents for Seth Rollins

1: Dean Ambrose

At SummerSlam, it will be exactly a year since Rollins and Ambrose reunited to recapture the Raw tag-team titles in what many fans thought would be the beginning of a build towards a Mania match between the two men.

Unfortunately, Ambrose would pick up an injury a few months later and has not been seen on our TVs since late 2017.

Many fans presumed that the two men were on a course for a match at WrestleMania when Ambrose picked up his injury and it is not too much of a leap to presume the company still want that match to go ahead at some point.

Ambrose is due to return from injury soon and the assumption is that he will return in a heel role. The two men have feuded in the past but that was when Rollins was a heel, and Ambrose was a face. Having an unhinged Ambrose squaring up with a babyface Rollins is guaranteed to grab the fans’ attention, and the two men could easily steal the show in Brooklyn.

Of course, it would be nice if some sort of title could be involved, but given the history between the two men, this one should be able to sell itself.
