SANADA & Tetsuya Naito vs IWGP United States Champion Juice Robinson & David Finlay
Tetsuya Naito and Juice Robinson began the match. Fans got into the match straight away! Naito goes for the broken left hand of Juice straight away, which obviously hurts and does come into affect throughout the contest. The crowd was silent, almost in concern over Juice as he looked badly hurt, but thankfully he wasn’t.
As the match goes into the final proceedings, some really nice tag action was been used by both teams, and a cool spot which ended with a backdrop. The finish of the match came to fruition when Tetsuya Naito took the US Champion Juice out of the equation, and SANADA connected the Skull End to make David Finlay tap out, and pick up a victory.
RESULT: SANADA & Tetsuya Naito
RATING: 2.5 stars
Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa (Guerrillas Of Destiny) vs IWGP World Champion Kenny Omega & Chase Owens
Seriously… Can Omega ever put on a bad match? The answer is no. Crowd are thoroughly behind the champion, and the match starts fast because it begins with a brawl! Guerrillas Of Destiny pick the advantage up over David Finlay, but Omega levels out the field. As they get back in the ring, it’s Guerrillas Of Destiny who once again get the momentum.
As the match progresses,we move onto a really cool spot featuring Kenny Omega, as he absolutely obliterates Tama Tonga with a Superkick into a snap dragon suplex, it’s a thing of beauty. Tama Tonga connects a Gun Stun out of nowhere to Chase, then one to Omega too, another great maneuver. The Gun Stun sealed the job done for Guerrillas Of Destiny.
Once the match was over, GOD did a post-match attack, connecting another Gun Stun to Omega.
RESULT: Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa (Guerrillas Of Destiny)
RATING: 3.25 stars
