5. Back-From-The-Dead Rosemary will be teased to help Allie win against Tessa Blanchard
It’s been almost three month since Rosemary was put into a coffin by Su Yung, burned, and taken for dead, though she lived on through the darkness that overtook Allie during her feud with Su that cost her the Knockouts Championship. Rosemary is rumored to be injured, and it’s unsure when she’s expected to appear in the ring for Impact Wrestling again.
That said, Rosemary doesn’t need to step foot in the ring, or even be in the building on Sunday to potentially make an impact during this match. I promise this is the first and only time I will make this pun.
Does Allie need assistance to win this match? Absolutely not. Allie has come a long way since following Maria and Sienna around and her first Knockouts Championship win, and even when aligned with Rosemary she can still hold her own.
As we’ve seen though, it’s not impossible to scare Tessa Blanchard, and with an ego like Tessa’s, that may be what it takes to get under her skin. I’m going to call a promo-style tease of Rosemary’s revival that’s just enough to throw Tessa off her game, and it could set off a story line for Allie trying to find out whether her friend is still alive or not.
