4. The Show Is Sold Out And The Crowd Will Be Hyped

Nothing makes a wrestling show more entertaining than a hot crowd, and Impact Wrestling has built up so much momentum and goodwill for their rabid fanbase over the past couple of months. They have been rewarded accordingly. The latest episodes of Impact Television have showed us all just how much more excited the crowd is about the product. Chants break out, heels get admonished, babyfaces get cheered, and there are very few chants that have nothing to do with the action taking place.

The fans are so invested in the stories Impact is telling that they aren’t busy trying to get themselves over. Instead, they are adding to the atmosphere of the show, which causes the performers to care that much more about trying new things and getting a bigger reaction from the crowd. It’s truly a joy listening to the Impact faithful yell “Cero…Miedo!” along with Pentagon Jr., or listening to them berate Eddie Edwards or Eli Drake.

As colleague Chelsea Marcus wrote, Slammiversary 2018 is officially a sold-out show, and Impact even had to offer extra tickets because of the high demand. It’s amazing how far Impact has come in a few short months, and the crowd will repay management in the form of a fired-up audience for one of their biggest shows of the year.
