Impact Wrestling: Will Allie’s Vigilantism Be Her Fatal Flaw?
Allie is a two-time Knockouts Champion in Impact Wrestling and one of the best babyfaces in wrestling today. Lately, she’s been taking it upon herself to make the world a better place by standing up to bullies, but will her vigilantism cost her in the end?
You know how Mauro Ranallo calls Tommaso Ciampa the “Scourge of NXT?” Well, the scourge of Impact Wrestling just might be Knockouts Champion Su Yung, who put her Slammiversary challenger Madison Rayne into a casket after her victory. Yung has put Rosemary and Rayne into caskets, and Allie met the same fate at “Under Pressure” in an actual casket match.
Rosemary has yet to return from being trapped inside the casket, and Rayne did not resurface on the episode of Impact after Slammiversary. That means Allie is the only person to make it out of a casket after being trapped by Yung and her Undead Brides.
Although Allie had nothing to do with Rayne being thrown inside the coffin, she has blamed herself for the incident, lamenting the fact that her loss to Tessa Blanchard at Slammiversary distracted her from coming to Rayne’s aid.
Previously, Allie saved Rayne from a Blanchard beatdown on television, making it clear that she sees herself as the protector of the Knockouts Division.

No longer the innocent, cheery babyface, Allie wants to be the true face of the division and a hero to all, especially with her best friend Rosemary away.
This type of vigilantism from Allie is absolutely admirable, but it may be somewhat foolish. As Blanchard once said in a promo mocking Allie, Impact Wrestling’s “Bunny” thinks she can save the world. But is she actually capable of doing that? Will she spread herself too thin in an effort to stop every adversary possible, leaving her vulnerable to being preyed upon by Impact’s most unscrupulous competitors?
Newcomer Scarlett Bordeaux, for example, seems like the type of seedy character who would love to make a name for herself at Allie’s expense.
But Allie isn’t the type of person who is going to exercise caution, especially when it comes to helping others. Allie is the definition of what it means to be an unselfish person, and even though this vigilantism could be a fatal flaw, I’m sure she wouldn’t have it any other way. With so many wrestlers in the Knockouts Division looking to hurt others to make their way to the top, someone with Allie’s moral compass and strength of character is necessary.
Allie is the “Guardian Angel” that the Knockouts Division needs, but, thankfully, it doesn’t seem like she’ll be going at it alone. Kiera Hogan heard Allie’s strong words about going after Su Yung, whose mystique is only surpass by her villainy, and has decided to help “The Bunny”.
There’s no doubt that Hogan is a critical ally, because going after Yung (and others) is not a one-woman job. Yung has a great numbers advantage with her Undead Bride, and she’s already claimed a second, prestigious victim in Rayne. Even with Hogan’s help, Allie could be fighting an uphill battle.
That said, Allie has never met a challenge she’s had to back down from, because she is the exact type of person who will go down swinging, no matter the cost involved. Again, that could come back to bite Allie, who could easily end up being trapped in a casket for good. The threat of this fate, however, will never deter Allie, who is the hero Impact Wrestling needs. Because lord knows, this roster is filled with villains, with the scariest of them being Yung herself.
So cheer Allie as boisterously as you can, relishing her every victory. Because not only does she need your support, but someone as unselfish and relentless as her has damn well earned it.
