WWE Evolution PPV Match Card Fantasy Booking Version 1.0

Mae Young Classic Final: Io Shirai vs Toni Storm

It may be overly predictable to go with these two in the final, but if Triple H wants to be sure that it will deliver at Evolution, this is the match to go with. These are two of the best wrestlers on Earth, and there’s no doubt that they would tear the house down on October 28th.

Storm and Shirai wrestled twice in Stardom. Both matches were classics that went to time limit draws. Commentary could bring this up and make the match feel even more epic.

Both of these women are going to be huge stars in WWE no matter what. Either would be a great choice to win the second edition of the Mae Young Classic. However, I would slightly prefer Io as she is older and should be pushed to the moon as soon as possible.

Alexa Bliss vs Kelly Kelly

I would be shocked if Alexa were to retain the Raw Women’s Championship at Summerslam. However, even if she is out of the title picture by October, Bliss definitely still deserves a huge match at Evolution. Like it or not, she’s spent most of the last two years on top, and has brought more good than bad to the women’s division.

The story behind this match could be great. Kelly Kelly could return and talk trash on the current crop of women wrestlers. She could single out Alexa and play off what many internet fans say about her- Call her nothing more than a pretty face. Tell her she would’ve fit in better with the Divas. Say Bliss is nothing but a knock off version of herself.

If WWE wanted to, they could even use this feud to turn Bliss babyface. She could show a grittier side, and straight up outwrestle Kelly Kelly to prove that she’s so much more than a wannabe Diva.

I think if Creative handled it properly and really made an effort to play off of fan expectations to blur the lines between fiction and reality, this could be an extremely interesting rivalry.
