Natalya & Nia Jax vs Beth Phoenix & Kharma

I would be shocked if Beth Phoenix wasn’t involved in a match with Natalya or Nia Jax or both. Natalya and Beth’s real life friendship is well documented, so you’d have to think that they would love to work a match together at Evolution. On top of that, with the Nia/Beth face off at the Royal Rumble earlier this year, as well as the fact that Natalya and Jax have been portrayed as allies on Raw recently, this just makes too much sense.

It’s possible that we’ll get a singles match between Phoenix and one of Natalya or Nia, but a tag match would work better to get them both on the card in a meaningful way. If this is the case, Kharma would be the ideal partner for Beth for obvious reasons. I mean, who doesn’t want to see Jax and Kharma go at in the squared circle?

Kharma (AKA Kia Stevens) has been tearing it up as Tammé Dawson on GLOW, but she hasn’t officially retired from the ring. WWE and GLOW seem to have a good relationship, and there doesn’t seem to be any bad blood between Stevens and her former employer, so a one-off return at Evolution could definitely be possible.

Natalya and Nia Jax would go over, setting them up as a strong contender to whoever ends up the inaugural tag champs.

Winner: Natalya & Nia Jax

NXT Women’s Championship Ladder Match: Kairi Sane(c) vs Shayna Baszler vs Candice LeRae vs Bianca Belair

Why not add more historic significance to this night with the first ever NXT Women’s ladder match? It would make for a great change of pace on the card, and allow NXT to showcase its talent in a unique way. All four of these women would be more than capable of making the most out of the stipulation. And, let’s be real, we’re all marks who would love to see an InSane Elbow from the top of a ladder.

Baszler vs Sane at Takeover: Brooklyn is pretty much a toss up. I could see Baszler retaining and continuing her dominant reign, but also Sane feels like the perfect person to beat her. Regardless, I would still like to see these four take part in the match at Evolution. In my opinion, they are NXT’s finest and would do a stellar job representing the brand. I also wouldn’t mind Dakota Kai and/or Lacey Evans being added to the match.

Sane retains (or wins the title first time), and Baszler is headed for the main roster.

Winner: Kairi Sane
