Trish Stratus vs Mickie James vs Lita

Admittedly, it would be great to see Trish or Lita go up against one of the biggest stars from the current generation like Charlotte or Rousey, but I just keep coming back to this in the end. Stratus vs James and Stratus vs Lita are two of the greatest rivalries of all time. They were both ahead of their time, and truly set the foundation for the Women’s Revolution we’re seeing now.

The highlight of the feud between Stratus and James was the story that culminated at Wrestlemania 22, but they feuded off and on for nearly a decade. Lita and Stratus’s rivalry lasted even longer and featured some of the greatest women’s matches of all time, including the first ever women’s Raw main event, and an absolute banger at Unforgiven 2006.

What better way to pay respect to three of the greatest, than by having them renew their rivalries and go at it one last time in a triple threat match? The crowd would be insanely hot for this, and the nature of the three-way would allow the vets to pace themselves and deliver the best, drama-filled action possible.

It’s almost impossible to pick a winner. I would say they should do some sort of a triple pinfall, but that would probably end up coming off as terribly contrived. I guess I’ll go with Stratus.

After the match, it would be great for the Riott Squad to hit the ring and attack all three women, setting up a match for further down the road at Survivor Series or Wrestlemania. This would allow James, Stratus, and Lita to have a fun nostalgia party, without sacrificing a meaningful angle that benefits younger talent.
