Undisputed ERA (Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong) (c) vs. Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate), NXT Tag Team Championship

If you haven’t done so yet, please go back and watch the Moustache Mountain vs. Undisputed ERA Tag Team Championship match from the July 11 NXT. It was one of the best tag team matches of the year and it was rife with tremendous storytelling and emotion. Needless to say, I would like to see that match again on a bigger stage.

I think the Barclays Center fits the bill. As the former champions, Bate and Seven have a contractually-obligated rematch coming their way in the near future. There is a chance that they get their title shot on TV before TakeOver, which means that we are getting at least one more bout between these four. The brawl they had last Wednesday on NXT seems to point in that direction.

Based on their previous work, I expect these two teams to deliver another instant classic with plenty of callbacks to their previous matches. There’s a chance that this could become a three-way with War Raiders involved (they came out on the stage to prevent the Undisputed ERA from leaving, which led to the big brawl last Wednesday), but they can get a title shot at War Games in November. Undisputed ERA vs. Moustache Mountain at TakeOver: Brooklyn seems like the way to go.
