The Revival (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder) vs. Deleters of Worlds (Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt)

Result: The Revival defeated Deleters of Worlds via pinfall

Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars

The chaos from the interview segment leads to a straight up tag match with the reigning champs on commentary. Surprisingly, Axel is much better on commentary than he is in interviews. I just figured that if you couldn’t speak, you couldn’t speak. Also a fan of how he whacked himself in the head with his belt strap. Loving that he and Bo can’t figure out how to work the belts yet.

As far as the match, it wasn’t anything to shatter your worldview of tag team wrestling, but it was the perfect counterpoint to the Apollo Crews/Akam match from earlier in the show. While Crews was able to beat a more formidable opponent due to his being out of his element, The Revival win here because they are the more cohesive team.

Dash and Dawson have been teaming for years. Hardy and Wyatt came together in April. A tag title reign aside, the experience belongs to The Revival. So of course their superior tag skills would translate to a win.

The curious thing to me is what happens when the B-Team goes up against The Revival. Will the tag superiority help The Revival against a team who has literally won all their matches via sheer dumb luck?

Someone Needs a Bodyguard

If Seth Rollins constantly getting destroyed by both McIntyre and Ziggler isn’t setting up Jason Jordan’s return, what are we even doing? I’ll allow Dean Ambrose, but I think he’s still broken.
