Becky Lynch Promo

Becky Lynch is asked by Renee Young how she feels about Charlotte Flair being potentially added to the SummerSlam match. Well, Becky admits that she isn’t happy that Charlotte could make this a Triple Threat, given how much she’s fought for this opportunity.

She knows that she can beat Carmella (or anyone else) one-on-one, and Young doesn’t exactly hide the fact that she’s peeling away at potential friction between these two friends. We’re in for an interesting SummerSlam build, that’s for sure.

Lana vs. Zelina Vega

Last week, Zelina Vega costed Rusev a match against her client Andrade “Cien” Almas by causing a distraction outside the ring. Vega and Lana will fight it out tonight after an intense Twitter battle between two of the best talkers in WWE.

Vega starts out with a little roll and a “Tranquilo” pose in the center of the ring, as it gets under Lana’s skin. But Lana shows that she has moves, too.

Lana and Vega start disrespecting each other, before Lana jumps at her and forces Vega out of the ring to regroup with Almas.

Almas tried to cost Lana, but Aiden English made the save! It didn’t matter, though, because Vega grabbed the tights for an extremely cheap win. It’s hard to top the duo of Vega and Almas, but Lana impressed and looked like the superior competitor tonight. Hopefully she gets a chance to get her revenge, but I wonder what this means for English.

Grade: B, As Corey Graves said, Lana continues to improve by leaps and bounds in the ring. This was a very good match, and it adds some more Rusev Day drama due to English’s failed help. Oh, and Lana did a Spinaroonie!
