Rusev Day Segment

An apologetic Aiden English rushes after Lana backstage and tells her that he just wanted to help her. Lana yells for English to leave, while Rusev starts  looking after him. Lana is upset with Rusev for not being out there to help her, and she storms off, leaving Rusev back at square one again. This is getting quite interesting.

Daniel Bryan/The Miz Promo

After The Miz fooled Daniel Bryan badly last week with a fake baby, Bryan is out here this week to cut a promo. He shows footage of The Miz using a baby doll as a scheme to hit him with a Skull Crushing Finale, and Bryan says that this incident bothers him.

Bryan says that Miz talked a big game while Bryan was not cleared to compete, because he felt a “protective wall”. Miz thought that he would never face physical comeuppance for his words. But last week, he used Maryse and a baby doll as  “protective wall”, because he knows that Bryan would destroy him in the ring now that he’s ready to compete.

He challenges The Miz to come out, but The A-Lister is just backstage, avoiding Bryan face-to-face. Miz says he’s an “elite” talent and that Bryan can’t just call him out like it’s the “Indies”. But really, he’s just hiding on the set of “Miz and Mrs.” with security, claiming that WWE told him to have security.

Bryan, once again, calls him a coward. He says that better men have made the transition to being Hollywood stars, adding that Miz will never be The Rock or John Cena.

The man challenges Miz for a SummerSlam match, but Miz just tells him to be quiet and go away because the crowd is done with him. Miz says that the crowd sees Bryan as a crybaby.

Grade: B+, Another good segment between these two. Bryan got some good shots in there, but how can anyone hang with The Miz? He’s on another level.
