15. WWE Debut: March 18th, 2002

During an episode of Raw, the world was introduced to a fresh-faced Brock Lesnar who would soon become known as “The Next Big Thing”. Accompanied by the man who has been by his side throughout his career, Paul Heyman, the 24-year old Lesnar interrupted a triple threat hardcore match between Al Snow, Maven and Spike Dudley.

Appearing at ringside bouncing ominously like a rabid dog ready to be unleashed, Lesnar rushed the ring and immediately made his presence felt. Snow was the first man in WWE to feel his wrath via a shot with a trash can, before Maven was obliterated by an enormous F-5. But, Lesnar saved his most vicious punishment for the pint-size Dudley.

As Spike launched an attack at Brock from the top turnbuckle, the behemoth nearly cut Dudley in half with a monstrous clothesline. With the dastardly Heyman yelling instructions from ringside, Lesnar picked Spike up by the throat, threw him into mid-air like a human beach ball, before catching him and delivering three consecutive power bombs.

The live crowd in attendance were absolutely bewildered by the awesome display of athleticism they had just witnessed. This was a debut to set apart a superstar from a wrestler, and Brock firmly placed himself in the former category.
