IMPACT: The Su Yung, Madison Rayne Feud

Madison Rayne finds a spot on this list yet again, and it’s because I feel compelled to talk about her feud with Su Yung, which was completed at Slammiversary. I’ve enjoyed Rayne’s return to the ring for Impact Wrestling, and what made her return even better was the fact that she and Yung had a really fun feud.

Impact understands the importance of having great video packages, and they might have the most engaging hype packages in the business right now. And that’s saying something, because WWE has always been great at this. But go watch the Yung/Rayne segments and tell me that they weren’t the best of the month. Yung’s character is one of the best in wrestling right now.

The match itself was underwhelming until the finish, when Rayne sold Yung’s submission finisher like crazy. Then, Yung held up the title on the ramp with the Undead Brides guarding Rayne inside a casket, and, in that moment, you realized it will take something special to unseat Yung as Knockouts Champion.

WWE: Sasha Banks On Evolution

WWE had web exclusive interviews with many of the women on the roster following the announcement of the all-women’s PPV “Evolution”, and Sasha Banks’s interview was absolutely overwhelming (in a good way!).

Banks’s tears of joy in the interview made us all feel something, because you got to see just how much this show means to the women on the roster, especially someone as talented and hard-working as Banks. I can’t wait to see what she does at the show!
